OREANDA-NEWS  As noted by The Hollywood Reporter, Smurfs: The Lost Village cost $60 million to make and had one of the worst openings for a big-budget Hollywood animated production in quite some time. Meanwhile, Fox and DreamWork Animation's The Boss Baby held strong in first place for its second weekend, earning an estimated $26.3 million. Trailing close behind in second was Disney's Beauty and the Beast with an estimated $25 million.
