OREANDA-NEWS   The Company Chevrolet plans to begin sales of a new SUV Chevrolet Traverse in Russia at the end of 2017. This was reported to the agency "AUTOSTAT" by Sergey Lepnukhov, Director of Public Relations of GM Russia.

Recall that by the beginning of 2016 the company General Motors withdrew from the Russian market all Chevrolet models, the production and delivery of which was carried out outside the US. The only exception was Chevrolet Niva, the production of which continues at GM-AVTOVAZ. Since 2016, there are delivered Chevrolet models, produced in USA, to the Russian market: Tahoe, Camaro, and Corvette. "At present, we are pleased with the sales level of these models in Russia, which has been showing steady growth for the second consecutive year," - said Sergey Lepnukhov.

As previously reported by "AUTOSTAT", for the first five months of 2017, more than 130 Chevrolet Camaro cars were sold, which is the best result for today since the official launch of the model in Russia in 2012. Almost half of sales fell on a limited series, timed to the anniversary of the model - 50th AnniversaryEdition.
