OREANDA-NEWS. NEC Corporation announced its participation in Small Cells World Summit 2013, from 4 to 6 June 2013 at the Hilton London Metropole hotel.

NEC will showcase its end-to-end small cell solutions including;
- A range of consumer/residential, SOHO, SME, and Hotspot products all designed to be easily deployed by an operator as 'zero touch' or 'one touch' offerings to their customers. The small cells can be used in single standalone mode or in multiple-unit, self-configuring and self-optimising grid configurations in order to offer higher area coverage and/or higher capacities. As with all of its small cell solutions, NEC offers a fully-managed, end-to-end service to operators to ensure that service/customer satisfaction levels and KPIs are maximized. NEC also offers CAPEX, mixed CAPEX/OPEX or even full OPEX installation, pilot, and customer deployment plans to fit with operators' business requirements.
- The Scalable E-RAN system enables a mobile operator-managed mobile access and services system for medium to large enterprise customers to be deployed rapidly; in days or weeks, compared with months or years, for costly and complex Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS).
- NEC's LTE microcell is a compact and lightweight base station that integrates a baseband unit with a remote radio head in a single unit. It offers the SON-based plug-and-play feature where base stations are automatically self-configured after being switched on at each site. This can radically reduce installation time and associated costs.
- iPASOLINK AOR is compact, robust and high-capacity packet radio equipment ideal for LTE backhaul. All-Outdoor designs significantly reduce physical equipment footprints, speed up network deployment and reduce operational and maintenance costs.
