OREANDA-NEWS. The Federal Tax Service (FTS) has given a fiscal data processing permit to KORUS Consulting CIS, which is part of Sberbank Group and Russia’s largest electronic document manager.

CORUS FDO fully meets the requirements of Federal Act 54-FZ “On Cash Register Equipment” and allows clients to carry out additional functions.

In accordance with the requirements of 54-FZ, from July 1, 2017 all cash registers must send receipts online to a fiscal data operator for subsequent sending to the FTS.

“Our specialists and industry experts did a lot of work to receive the permit from the FTS. CORUS FDO is an off-the-shelf service for Russian retailers, which helps them comply with 54-FZ and also take advantage of additional functions,” said Sergey Vershkov, Head of CORUS Consulting CIS.

From February 1, 2017, old cash register equipment must be replaced or upgraded to transfer fiscal data to the FTS via the internet. The FNS certifies fiscal data operators to electronically collect, store and transfer fiscal data. Major retailers have already started switching their cash registers over to the new system. From July 1, 2017 these requirements will be mandatory for all legal entities that use cash registers.
