OREANDA-NEWS. VEB opened a national innovations and technologies exhibition entitled “Investment in the Future of Russia” at their booth at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

In line with the Strategy, in the coming years VEB intends to expand their participation in the priority development projects, facilitating the attraction of investments in those innovative areas where Russia can become a global leader, including blockchain technology, high-tech medicine, robotics, quantum and convergent technologies, etc.

The following modern Russian developments were represented at the VEB booth: a drone motorcycle manufactured by Hoversurf, a small satellite by Dauria Aerospace, Healbe GoBe2 Automatic Calorie Counting Smartwatch, a mobile robot motion control technology by Robotikum, pressure sensors with increased resistance to simultaneous impact of various destabilizing factors manufactured by Thin-Film Technologies, Wi-Fi in the rolling stock of the Moscow and St. Petersburg Metro from MaximaTelecom, exoskeleton for medical and social rehabilitation ExoAtlet, an Internet platform for teachers, schoolchildren and parents from GlobalLab promoting collaborative projects, as well as a WATTS personal modular power station.

“We aim to support priority development projects. VEB is determined to play the role of developmental bank for innovative Russian companies. We are ready to finance innovative projects and STI projects at the stage of creation of production and services, and to support them at the stage of business and technology scaling. For this reason we decided to dedicate our booth to specific innovations invented and implemented in our country,” said VEB Chairman Sergey Gorkov.
