OREANDA-NEWS. June 05, 2017. Spanish bank, WiZink, previously bancoopular-e, has successfully implemented CGI’s enterprise default management solution, CACS Enterprise.

WiZink is a bank that specializes in credit cards and simple savings solutions that respond to its customers' day-to-day needs; a bank without branches that is designed to complement the bank used by its customers for the rest of their banking services.

The CACS implementation is a part of CGI’s long-term agreement with the bank. CACS is part of CGI Collections360, a comprehensive solutions suite for collections and recovery management, designed to drive efficiencies and value throughout the entire default management life cycle.

WiZink is undergoing a complete business and digital transformation and chose to partner with CGI to modernize its enterprise collections capabilities based on CGI’s extensive collections and digital transformation experience, expertise and solutions.

Through this modernization effort, WiZink will improve both its operational performance and its overall customer experience. CACS offers sophisticated case management functionality, allowing collection workflows to be optimized and individual treatment strategies to be determined.

“Financial institutions need robust and updated collections capabilities in order to fully support their customers,” said Jos? Carlos Gon?alves, CGI Senior Vice-President, Southern Europe & Brazil. “We are delighted that WiZink is moving forward with a CGI-owned technology solution known for its stability, scalability and record of success, and we look forward to supporting the bank for many years to come.”

With CACS, clients typically achieve a 10-40% reduction in net credit loss (a combination of a reduction in pre-charge off collections and post charge-off recovery). In addition, it typically provides 5-25% in default management department cost savings through OPEX reduction.
