OREANDA-NEWS. Customer traffic in the first quarter of 2016 at Sberbank branches amounted to almost 170 million people, which is 9% more than in the same period in 2015. Wait time does not exceed 10 minutes for 93% of customers. Customer satisfaction index was 9.3 points (on a scale of 1-10), Deputy Chairman of the Board of Sberbank Alexander Torbakhov announced at a press conference.

The portfolio of Sberbank’s residential loans increased to 65 billion rubles in the first quarter of 2016. Portfolio growth was 4.8% compared to the same period in 2015, while the number of applications for residential loans nearly doubled. Sberbank granted over 35 thousand loans for a total of over 60 billion rubles as part of the program "Mortgage with state support" in the first quarter of the year. The bank's share in the retail lending market reached 39.7%.

The number of active Sberbank debit cards increased to 104 million, credit cards - to 16.3 million as per May 1, 2016. Credit card portfolio exceeded 452 billion rubles, market share reached 38.6%. The growth of merchant acquiring for the year amounted to 58.6%, turnover dynamic in the retail network accounted to 930 billion rubles.

Increase in payments for mobile communications in the first quarter of 2016 amounted to more than 20% as compared to the same period of 2015. The average daily value of payments for mobile communications through Sberbank exceeds one billion rubles. Payments for utilities were up by almost 30% this year.

This year the number of active users of the web version and mobile applications of Sberbank Online increased by almost 1.5 times and exceeded 30 million. The number of customers using mobile applications has tripled, having reached 12.8 million. The Sberbank Online internet bank mobile application for iPhone was ranked 1st in the usability rating of mobile applications compiled by UsabilityLab.
