OREANDA-NEWS. RedstoneConnect (AIM: REDS), a leading provider of technology and services for smart buildings and commercial spaces, announces that its wholly owned subsidiary, Connect IB, has won an extension of its existing brief with GlaxoSmithKline ("GSK"), one of the world's leading pharmaceutical and healthcare companies, to deploy RedstoneConnect's proprietary Site Map application in Asia for the first time.

The agreement will see the roll-out of Site Map at one of GSK's existing Singapore locations and a future roll-out in 2017 at GSK's new global headquarters in Asia. This follows the successful implementation of the application at multiple locations across GSK's European estate.

This strategically important smart working application provides GSK's staff and visitors with a user-friendly mobile application tool which helps users to find colleagues at their desks, find their way to meeting rooms or discover facilities at GSK locations, thereby optimising the utilisation of the office space.

Mark Braund, Chief Executive of RedstoneConnect, commented:

"We are delighted to be expanding our remit with GSK, which further demonstrates the opportunities that exist for software solutions within our existing customer base. The adoption of Site Map and other smart solutions continues to highlight the demand for innovation within building infrastructure."
