OREANDA-NEWS. S&P Global Ratings assigned its 'A' long-term rating to Lost Hills Union School District, Calif.'s 2016 general obligation refunding bonds. The outlook is stable.

"The ratings reflect our view of the district's extremely strong market value per capita and low debt burden as a percentage of market value, offset by its concentrated property tax base and low per capita effective buying income," said S&P Global Ratings credit analyst Kaila Spalinger.

We understand that bond proceeds will be used refund all outstanding current interest bonds of the election of 2005 series A and series B bonds for interest cost savings.
