OREANDA-NEWS. The CEO of Von Roll Holding AG, Achim Klotz, has asked the Board of Directors to release him from his duties with effect from 1st October 2016 in order to pursue new challenges. The Board of Directors has accepted his request.

Achim Klotz reorganised Von Roll during difficult times for the energy industry. He consolidated the company's sites worldwide with great commitment and dedication leading to a significant reduction in costs. The Board of Directors would like to thank Achim Klotz and wishes him the best for the future, both personally and in his professional work.

In the context of the company's reorganisation, the Composites Division at Von Roll is also being restructured. The current Division Manager, Dr. Bernhard Fritsche, wishes to leave the company. Dr. Fritsche has driven forward the development of this segment, particularly in the automotive sector, with great dedication. The Board of Directors would like to thank him for the work he has accomplished and for his willingness to remain at the disposal of the company until the end of the year.

The Board of Directors has elected its member Dr. Christian Hennerkes to be a delegate of the Board from 1st October 2016 and has also named him as the new CEO. Dr. Hennerkes has been an executive member of the Board of Directors at Von Roll Holding AG since 13th April 2016. Dr. oec. Hennerkes (44) studied law and went on to gain a doctorate in economics. After completing his studies, Dr. Hennerkes worked as a consultant at a leading global consultancy firm.

He then worked in various companies in the consumer and industrial goods sector as a director and partner. Dr. Hennerkes will seamlessly continue with the turnaround that began under Achim Klotz. The Board of Directors wishes him success in his new role and the best of luck.
