OREANDA-NEWS  Minsk appealed to Moscow to issue a loan to refinance the debt for $600 million, said the head of the Ministry of Finance of Belarus Maxim Ermolovich, BelTA reports.

"It is in our agreements was to refinance the entire amount of the loan payments of the government of Russia in 2019. The volume of these payments is $600 million," he said.

According to him, the implementation of these plans requires only the decision of the Russian government, which must approve the loan. Yermolovich added that the funds for the loan were provided by the Russian budget for 2019.
