OREANDA-NEWSThe European Union decided to allocate € 3 billion to neighboring countries to combat the economic consequences of the coronavirus pandemic, including € 1.2 billion to Ukraine. This is stated in a statement of the European Commission, circulated on Wednesday in Brussels.

"The European Commission has approved a proposal to provide a package of macro-financial assistance in the amount of € 3 billion to 10 partners in the expansion and neighborhood policy to help them limit the economic consequences of the coronavirus pandemic", the document says. It indicates that Ukraine will receive the largest amount - € 1.2 billion.
