OREANDA-NEWS. Rosneft became the leader among the largest Russian companies in terms of product sales at the end of 2019, according to the RAEX-600 rating published in the Kommersant newspaper on Tuesday. The sales volume of Rosneft in 2019 amounted to 7.636 trillion rubles with a growth rate of 10.2%.

The second place belongs to the Russian company Gazprom, which has been the first line of the rating since 2000. Last year, the company's sales volume amounted to 7.546 trillion rubles (for example, in 2018 the volume of its sales amounted to 8.067 trillion rubles).

The third place is occupied by Lukoil with a sales volume of 7.415 trillion rubles (this figure decreased by 0.9% compared to 2018). In fourth place is the largest bank of Russia, Sberbank, with a sales volume of 3.084 trillion rubles, for which this figure was 2.786 trillion rubles in 2018. Russian Railways OJSC closes the top five of the rating, its sales volume amounted to 2.507 trillion rubles (an increase of 3.9% compared to 2018).

As for the remaining places, the sixth place was taken by the state corporation "Rostec" with a sales volume of 1.771 trillion rubles. On the seventh line of the rating, one can see the company X5 Retail Group (this company operates the Perekrestok, Pyaterochka and Karusel supermarket chains), its sales volume is 1.734 trillion rubles. The eighth place went to Surgutneftegaz with a sales volume of 1.570 trillion rubles, the ninth place went to the retail chain Magnit (sales volume - 1.368 trillion rubles). VTB Bank closes the top ten largest companies in Russia with a sales volume of 1.273 trillion rubles.
