OREANDA-NEWS. The government extended the zero rate of export duty on wheat until July 1, 2021.  The decree of June 29, 2019 was published on the official website of the Cabinet of Ministers.

"The decision will contribute to the export of products of the agro-industrial complex", - stated in the published materials.

Russia introduced wheat export duty in February 2015 to stabilize the situation in the domestic market, but in September 2016 it was reset to zero.

In early June, Minister of Agriculture Dmitry Patrushev stated that there are no prerequisites for introducing a non-zero export duty on wheat, as the market situation is stable.
