OREANDA-NEWS In 2019, it is planned to allocate about 10 billion rubles for the reclamation of 49 illegal dumps and the most contaminated land with a total area of about 700 hectares, the Ministry of Natural Resources told. In particular, the authorities have decided to Finance the liquidation of the city dump in Chelyabinsk — for these purposes in 2019 laid 617 million rubles. In addition, the famous "Black hole" — an illegal sump of industrial waste near Dzerzhinsky in the Nizhny Novgorod region-is also being recultivated. In 2020, the regions will receive another 10.4 billion rubles from the Federal Budget to close 42 landfills and 15 hazardous facilities.

Agreements have already been prepared to provide 6.2 billion Federal funds to 12 regions. These are Kabardino-Balkaria, Karachay-Cherkessia, Ingushetia, North Ossetia — Alania, the Chechen Republic, Volgograd, Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Smolensk, Bryansk, Novgorod and Murmansk regions, the Ministry of natural resources noted.

One of the most famous dangerous objects is the "Black hole" with an area of 3.5 hectares in the Nizhny Novgorod region. The lake with the same name half a century was filled with waste from the plant "Plexiglas". It is listed in the Guinness book of records as "the most polluted small pond in the world." In 2019, 1.1 billion rubles will be allocated for the liquidation of the sump.

Dzerzhinsk as one of the dirtiest cities on the planet is, quite obviously, a sore point. In the city and the surrounding areas are concentrated a large number of chemical contaminants — said the General Director of the Association "housing and urban environment" Alexei Makrushin.

In total, three events were approved in the Nizhny Novgorod region for 2019. The largest of them is the conservation of the sludge collector "White sea" with an area of 71.5 hectares on the territory of the plant "Caprolactam".
