From May 2017 to May 2018, the index of satisfaction of the population with banking services increased by 10 points. According to experts, this was due to the fact that the activities of financial institutions has become clearer and more transparent, as well as began to actively develop remote services.  Especially the Russians note the development of remote services: online banks, e-wallets, insurance and lending on the Internet, payment by Bank cards in online stores.

At the same time, representatives of the financial sector note the growing demand for remote services. Experts noted that the reason for this is the availability of smartphones and other gadgets, as well as a decrease in the number of Bank offices.

One of the reasons for the transition of customers of credit institutions in the online closure of Bank offices. Over the past two years, they have decreased by 13%, said the General Director of the online lending service "Robot Zaymer" Roman Makarov. For remote access to the services of banks and MFOs is enough to have a cheap smartphone. This gadget now has about 70% of the population of Russia. With the help of mobile devices, creditor sites are visited by 80% of customers.

However, experts urge not to completely abandon Bank branches. First of all, they are necessary for the elderly.

At the same time, the growing interest of citizens in remote financial channels leads to an increase in fraudulent attacks. According to the leading anti-virus expert of Kaspersky Lab Sergey Golovanov, in 2018, 800 thousand attempts to launch malware to steal money through online access to accounts were blocked only with the help of his company's solutions. The growth of cyber attacks on mobile devices for the purpose of theft of funds is recorded annually.
