This is stated in the message of the bank. "Sberbank closed a deal to acquire 36% in MF Technologies JSC from Gazprombank JSC and Rostec state corporation and became an equal partner in the company", the report says. Earlier it was reported that the deal should amount to 11.3 billion rubles.

Sberbank will also receive one seat on the board of directors of Mail.ru Group, which nominated Lev Khasis, the first deputy chairman of the board of Sberbank. After the transaction is closed, the shareholders of MF Technologies include MegaFon with a share of 45%, Sberbank - 36%, Rostec - 10%, USM Holdings - 9%.

In mid-November 2019, Sberbank signed legally binding documents on the redemption of Gazprombank's share (35%) and 1% of the shares owned by Rostec Corporation, in the co-owner of Mail.ru Group - MF Technologies.
