OREANDA-NEWSSberbank's net profit according to international financial reporting standards (IFRS) for the nine months of 2019 decreased by 3.4% compared to the same period of the previous year, to 633 billion rubles. This follows from the message of the bank. At the same time, in the third quarter, Sberbank received a net profit of 156.1 billion rubles, which is 31.57% less than in the same period in 2018.

The bank’s net interest income for the reporting period increased by 0.26% to 1.04 trillion rubles, and in the III quarter decreased by 1.5% and amounted to 353.9 billion rubles. Net commission income for January - September grew by 9.9% to 349.6 billion rubles, and in the third quarter amounted to 130 billion rubles, which is almost 15.2% more than a year earlier. Sberbank's return on equity in the third quarter decreased to 22.4% from 24.3% a year earlier, net interest margin decreased to 5.13% from 5.75%.

As of September 30, the bank's loan portfolio amounted to 21.2 trillion rubles, which is 0.6% more than at the end of 2018. Loans to legal entities decreased by 5.4%, to 13.56 trillion rubles, and to individuals - increased by 13.1%, to 7.63 trillion rubles. The total assets of the bank for the six months decreased by 3%, to 30.25 trillion rubles.
