OREANDA-NEWS. The Moscow Stock Exchange index during trading declines by 0.63% to the closing level of the previous session and is at 2653.3 points, it follows from the trading floor at 14:42 Moscow time.
At the same time, at the peak of the decline, the index reached 2643.98 points, which is 0.98% lower than the closing level of previous trading. The RTS index is growing at 1.27% - up to 1128.7 points.
The ruble is strengthening against the US and European currencies. The dollar is reduced by 1%, to 74.22 rubles, the euro - by 0.92%, to 80.56 rubles. The cost of futures for Brent crude oil for delivery in June 2020 on the ICE exchange in London is growing by 2.53% and reached $ 33.67 per barrel.
