OREANDA-NEWS. According to the RBC channel, based on the data of the poll of the Rabota.ru service and the NPF of Sberbank, the Russians named the level of pension, which they consider necessary for a comfortable life in old age.

During the study, more than three thousand specialists from eight industries were interviewed. So, 23 percent of IT workers, 20 percent of builders and 22 percent of financiers indicated the amount of more than 100 thousand rubles per month as the desired amount of pension.

Workers in the catering sector turned out to be slightly more modest in their financial desires - 23 percent of the surveyed cooks and waiters would like to receive from 40 thousand to 50 thousand a month in retirement. The same amount would suit 21 percent of doctors and teachers, 19 percent of transport and logistics workers.

The smallest requests turned out to be from production workers - in this industry every fifth person would like to receive 30-40 thousand rubles a month in old age.

The reality today, unfortunately, is very different from dreams. The share of expenditures on pension payments in Russia's GDP is already at a rather low level compared to other countries - about 7%. Russia lags far behind other European countries in terms of the current, real level of pension payments. Based on the current level of development of the Russian economy, it is clear that pensioners are severely underpaid.
