OREANDA-NEWSBusinessman Oleg Tinkov will remain in London for the duration of the trial initiated by the US tax service. This was reported in the materials of TCS Group (the parent company of Tinkoff Bank) on the London Stock Exchange.

The TCS Group report stated that this situation does not affect the work of the TCS Group board of directors and the Tinkoff Bank board. “Mr. Tinkov is not a member of any of these tips. All current operating decisions are made at the level of the board of the bank and other operating companies of the group”, the group notes.

As TCS Group previously reported, the U.S. tax office has initiated court hearings in London against a businessman. Hearings began in the British capital in February and will last until April. The matter concerns the settlement of possible tax claims.

The Tinkoff Bank press service told a Russian correspondent that the group independently announced that Oleg Tinkov had participated in court hearings initiated by the US tax service to transparently comply with all legal standards related to a public company listed in London and Moscow.
