OREANDA-NEWS. The promotion company Triller sued the former absolute world heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson, who took a fee of $25 million for an exhibition fight with Evander Holyfield, and then refused to fight. This is reported by IBTimes.

«No one but us was willing to pay $25 million for a fight during the pandemic, and we did it. We paid every last penny», said Triller CEO Ryan Kavanaugh. He also noted that he would seek a ban for Tyson to work with any other promotional company and organize exhibition fights.

In November 2020, Tyson held an exhibition eight-round duel with another legendary former world boxing champion Roy Jones. The fight ended in a draw by the decision of the judges.

As previously reported, the former absolute world heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson will hold a rematch with Lennox Lewis, the British and Canadian former absolute champion in the same weight category.
