OREANDA-NEWS  In Ukraine, by the end of summer, mass confiscation of assets of Russians and citizens cooperating with the Russian authorities will begin. This was announced by the Minister of Justice Denis Malyuska.

According to him, the property of politicians, officials and businessmen will be confiscated with the help of the NSDC and the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court. "First, the NSDC will apply sanctions to a certain circle of entities that threaten the territorial integrity and security of our state," Malyuska said.

At the end of April, the Verkhovna Rada simplified the procedure for the confiscation of assets of Russians who fell under sanctions. Deputies of the Ukrainian parliament have adopted a bill that allows for the simplified seizure of all assets, property, companies and real estate of Russian citizens affected by restrictive measures.

The funds raised in this way are planned to be directed to the restoration of the economy of Ukraine, compensation for damage to residents of the republic and assistance to the state.
