OREANDA-NEWS. SSE gives Scottish tennis fans the chance to face Andy Murray’s serve thanks to unique simulator experience, with one winning the chance to face Andy’s serve in person at The SSE Hydro for Andy Murray Live, presented by SSE. 

As Wimbledon fever grips the nation, SSE is giving Scottish tennis fans the chance to pit their wits against Andy Murray’s serve.

SSE presents…You’ve Been Served is a unique simulator experience that gives plucky fans the chance to try and return the Dunblane ace’s serve. The World number two will face up to his challengers via a giant LED screen synced with a state of the art serving machine to deliver serves of up to 125kph.

Participants who successfully return serve will be entered into a prize draw for one lucky fan to face Murray’s serve for real when the former Wimbledon Champion appears at The SSE Hydro for his inaugural Andy Murray Live exhibition on Wednesday 21 September.  

The You’ve Been Served installation, part of this year’s Merchant City Festival, will be open to the public at Candleriggs Square from Saturday 30 July until Sunday 7 August with fans of all ages and abilities invited to take part.
