OREANDA-NEWS. The European Olympic Committees (EOC, organization of 50 European national committees), will act as the third party in the dispute between the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) and the Russian Anti-Doping Agency (RUSADA).

A representative of EOK told journalists of TASS news agency that the goal of participation is to protect the interests of the national Olympic committees of Europe and athletes not connected with doping. According to him, the EOC wants to see a clear and final decision on this matter.

Earlier, the International Olympic Committee, the International Paralympic Committee, the Russian Olympic Committee and the Russian Paralympic Committee joined the process as a third party. The Artistic Gymnastics Federation of Russia, as well as individual athletes will also participate in the trial.
