OREANDA-NEWS. The leadership of the world car racing championship Formula One partnered with Amazon Web Services to create a unified driver speed rating based on cloud computing. According to the press service of the association, the ranking takes into account the results since 1983 and will be updated in the future. It is based on all qualifying races, except for random results caused by weather and other factors. The age of athletes, as well as long pauses in their careers, is also considered.

The leader of the rating is the three-time world champion from Brazil Ayrton Senna, whose sport career lasted from 1984 till 1994. The second place is taken by the seven-time Formula One champion from Germany Michael Schumacher (1991–2006, 2010–2012), the third is the Briton Lewis Hamilton (2007 – nowadays), who has won six golden medals.

The top ten also includes Max Verstappen, Fernando Alonso, Nico Rosberg, Charles Leclerc, Heikki Kovalainen, Jarno Trulli, and Sebastian Vettel.
