OREANDA-NEWS  In the UK, testing of the Coronavirus Immunity Passport System will begin in April. This information is reported by The Sunday Telegraph.

As noted, this system will be fully operational by autumn. It will look like an application for smartphones. The usual paper documents confirming the presence of immunity to coronavirus will also be used.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson on April 5 will make an official announcement about the introduction of the system. It will allow residents of the country to visit public places and public events, including football matches. Vaccination certification will no longer be the only way to attend community events.

The system will be tested in the coming months. Fans will have to show evidence of immunity at the FA Cup matches to be played at Wembley Stadium in London, including the final on 15 May.

In addition, the system will be tested at other sporting events. For example, at the World Snooker Championships in Sheffield, as well as the mass race in Hertfordshire.
