OREANDA-NEWS The Russian national team won seven medals on the first day of the summer Universiade, which takes place in Naples.

On July 4, Russian athletes won one gold, two silver and four bronze awards.

The first gold competition in Russia brought judoist Ruslan Shahbazov, acting in a weight category of over 90 kg. Silver took judo wrestlers Madina Taymazova (up to 70 kg) and skew player Evgenia Zharkova.
