OREANDA-NEWS   Scientists conducted a study in which 380 thousand people took part. They provided the experts with information about their sleep quality as well as their level of physical activity. Experts analyzed the obtained data and concluded that sport reduces the risk of developing dangerous diseases, including those caused by poor sleep.

For example, people with low physical activity and poor sleep had an increased risk of dying from cancer, stroke and heart disease. For 11 years of observing the participants in the study, experts recorded 15.5 thousand deaths. At the same time, the risk of death increased as sleep worsened.
