OREANDA-NEWS The players of the Ukrainian national team will refuse to shake hands with the Russians after the semi-final match of the European mini-football Championship. This was told to "Metaratings" by the president of the Futsal Federation of Ukraine Sergey Vladyko.

Vladyko commented on the recommendation of the Ministry of Sports of Ukraine not to be photographed and not to shake hands with Russians at the Olympic Games in Beijing. According to him, in Amsterdam, where the European Championship is taking place, the team will adhere to the same rules.

"Let's not forget about the coronavirus, it's still dangerous for health. We are in a situation of constant testing," Vladyko said. He noted that the teams are almost isolated and have little contact with each other.

The semifinal match will take place on February 4 at 19:00 Moscow time. In the other match of the 1/2 finals, the Portuguese will play with the Spaniards.

At the moment, Russian and Ukrainian teams do not play against each other until the playoff stage at tournaments held under the auspices of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA). This measure was adopted in the summer of 2014.

Earlier, journalist Ivan Karpov said in his Telegram-channel that the RFU can double the bonuses of the Russian national mini-football team if Sergei Skorovich's team defeats Ukraine in the match of the 1/2 finals of the European Championship.
