OREANDA-NEWS. Today, on October 18, the Cabinet of Ministers approved a resolution to sign the Partnership Framework between the Government of Ukraine and the United Nations for 2018-2022 (with the revision of the text of the program within three days) and gave authority to ink the document to First Vice Prime Minister/ Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Stepan Kubiv.

The aforesaid program provides for the signing of a new strategic document for 5 years (until 2022) to be funded by the United Nations agencies, funds and programs. The UN assistance will be provided in four areas of partnership: 1) sustained economic growth, the environment and employment; 2) equal access to quality and inclusive services and social protection; 3) democratic governance, rule of law and public participation; 4) citizen safety, social cohesion and recovery with a special emphasis on the East.
