OREANDA-NEWS Almost half of Russians (48%) have never tried to play computer and video games, follows from the results of a VTsIOM survey. 

A third (33%) of respondents said they had played before, but now they abandoned this hobby. Half of those who continue to play (46%) do it once a week, a third (30%) - several times a month or less. 

Most often, Russians play using smartphones (48%) or on a computer (41%). Most (79%) do not spend on paid versions of games and equipment. 

The most popular video games are among young people under 24 years old (40%), 25% of Russians play at the age of 25-34. Citizens that are 45-59 years old and over 60 years old also play actively (28% and 35% play daily, respectively).
