OREANDA-NEWS. The administration of the online trading platform AliExpress warned buyers about the possibility of delays in receiving parcels due to the spread of coronavirus infection.

“We are working hard to get your parcels delivered, but there may be some delays due to Coronavirus,” the message says. In an appeal to clients, it is noted that the World Health Organization (WHO) considers parcels safe, but in some cases, their delivery in new conditions requires more time. The video attached to the statement by AliExpress shows how parcels are disinfected.

The WHO publication on the spread of COVID-19 states that parcels received from the area where the cases of infection are registered remain safe, since the coronavirus “may persist on surfaces for a few hours or up to several days”.
