OREANDA-NEWS. All coronavirus vaccines registered in Russia can be used for re-vaccination. This was announced by the Minister of Health of the Russian Federation Mikhail Murashko.

In particular, the minister spoke about the "Sputnik Light" drug, which is also used for revaccination.

"The first batches of vaccine this week began to arrive in the regions. It is clear that production is increasing, production will increase," said Murashko. "We see that this drug has proven itself effectively."

At the moment, four vaccines have been registered in Russia, including the two-component Sputnik V, EpiVacCorona and KoviVak. There is also a "lightweight" version - a single-component vaccine "Sputnik Light".

On July 22, it became known that revaccination had begun in all vaccination centers in Moscow. Doctors recommend re-vaccinating six months after the first vaccination.

At the same time, the HRC, the Ministry of Economy and the Public Chamber of Russia asked the mayor of Moscow, Sergei Sobyanin, not to apply sanctions to NGOs for failing to meet the requirements to vaccinate 60% of the staff on time. Non-profit organizations cannot do this, since the actual number of their employees does not match the data of the mayor's office.

Re-vaccination is recommended six months after the first injection, and after the epidemiological situation improves - once a year, the mayor's office recalled. This will help to form additional protection for the body against infection with new, more aggressive strains of the coronavirus.
