The office of Rospotrebnadzor for North Ossetia reports that the epidemic threshold is exceeded by 13%. Most of the cases — students and pupils of kindergartens. Schools where a fifth of children are absent due to illness have been quarantined.

All secondary schools and municipal organizations of additional education of Yekaterinburg since January 30 closed for quarantine due to the increase in the incidence of SARS and influenza.

This was reported in the decision of the head of Yekaterinburg Alexander Vysokinsky, published on the website of the city administration.

"To suspend from January 30, 2019 the educational process in municipal educational organizations and municipal organizations of additional education located on the territory of the municipal formation "city of Yekaterinburg", — the document says.

According to the administration, in the period from 21 to 27 January, there were more than 21 thousand cases of SARS, which is 1.2 times higher than the figure recorded in the previous week.

Earlier, news agencies reported that all secondary schools of the Kurgan Will be closed for quarantine from Wednesday, January 30.

At the same time, the first cases of swine flu infection were recorded in North Ossetia this season.
