OREANDA-NEWS More than 6 million restrictions on the departure of debtors abroad operated in 2018 in Russia. This was announced by the Director of the Federal bailiff service (FSSP) of Russia Dmitry Aristov, speaking at the round table of the State Duma Committee on security and anti-corruption.

The exit order is valid for six months if the debtor has not previously repaid the debts, after which a new order is issued. As 2.9 million resolutions were in force of November, 1.

"Improved use of bailiffs-executors of the classic measures of performance. The number of decisions on the temporary restriction on the departure of debtors from the Russian Federation who were on duty at the Border service of the FSB of Russia [taking into account the resolutions in force at the beginning of 2018] was about 6 million, which is more than 62% higher than the same period in 2017," Aristov said.

"The total amount recovered by bailiffs on enforcement proceedings increased by 18 billion rubles and amounted to a total of 485 billion rubles. 177 billion rubles were transferred to the consolidated budget of Russia," Aristov said.

According to him, only on alimony payments after the restriction on departure, debtors repaid the debt by 5 billion rubles, and as a result of restrictions on driving rights, it turned out to collect more than 2 billion rubles. In general, the restriction on driving for nine months of 2018 was applied to more than 300,000 enforcement proceedings, resulting in a total of more than 4 billion rubles.

According to the service on September 1, the bailiffs recovered from more than 4.5 million Russians debts to credit institutions totaling 1.7 trillion rubles. Thus, the average amount of debt was 377 000 rubles.
