OREANDA-NEWS. The explosion of a car bomb in Damascus claimed the life of one person, two were injured. This was reported by Syrian state television, citing a source in the city’s police. “One civilian was killed, two were injured as a result of the actuation of an explosive device planted in a car,” Ikhbariya channel says.

Since the beginning of February, this is the third terrorist attack in the Syrian capital. On February 7, a car bomb exploded in the central district, one person was wounded. On February 10, one person was injured in a car explosion in the western part of the city. Besides, on February 16, six people died in a car bomb explosion in the town of Tell Abyad in the governorate of Raqqa in northeastern Syria. None of terrorist groups claimed responsibility for these explosions.
