OREANDA-NEWS. The deputy commander of the regiment of the Special Forces of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic Aleksey Krivulya was killed late in the evening on January 20.

This was reported by war correspondents Yury Kotenok and Marina Kharkova on Facebook. Later, information was confirmed by the head of the press service of the Armed Forces of the DPR Daniil Bezsonov. It is known that the officer was shot dead in the city of Donetsk. Interfax news agency’s source reported that Krivulya “was killed by three shots in the back near the elevator in the entrance of his own house.” Other details have not yet been disclosed.

Aleksey Krivulya was born in the city of Mykolaeika (Donetsk Region, Ukraine). He joined the militants in 2014.
