He blew up a car near government buildings in the center of Oslo, and then, disguised as a policeman, went to the isolated island of Utoya to kill participants in a youth camp. Under Norwegian law, he received a maximum sentence of 21 years in prison. The time spent in prison can be extended if the court decides to do so. But Breivik complains about the lack of communication and asks to release him now.
