According to the press secretary of the Armenian Defense Ministry, Shushan Stepanyan, the Turkish fighter took off from the airfield of the Azerbaijani city of Ganja. He covered the actions of Azerbaijani aviation and drones. According to the Armenian Ministry of Defense, a Turkish fighter jet entered the Armenian airspace to a depth of 60 kilometers. “The multifunctional fighter F-16 of the Republic of Turkey, according to the objective control means, was located at a depth of 60 kilometers inside the territory of Armenia, at an altitude of 8200 meters,” Stepanyan said.

The Armenian authorities have already announced the participation of Turkish fighters F-16 in the armed conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh. On September 28, Armenian President Armen Sarkissian reported that Ankara supports Baku with military advisers, mercenaries and fighters F-16.
