OREANDA-NEWS. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said in an interview with RBC news agency that the Azerbaijani military had fallen into a “trap” in Nagorno-Karabakh. According to the politician, the Armenian and Karabakh commanders imitated a retreat in the south of the unrecognized republic, thanks to which they managed to lure the military corps of Azerbaijan “into the corridor.”

Pashinyan also informed that on October 7, the Azerbaijani corps received crushing blows, which, according to him, should become the key moment of the entire operation. “I think this will be the key moment of the whole operation. In these minutes, according to my information, the real foundation for the final victory of the Karabakh army is being laid,” the Prime Minister resumed.

At the same time, the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev reported on the same day that the Armed Forces of the republic on October 5 seized three villages and a number of strategic heights in the conflict zone.
