OREANDA-NEWS. The cabinet of ministers, at a today’s meeting, approved a sanitary regulation on supervising the health of the people exposed to actions by professional risk factors.

The document sets the requirements for establishing measures to improve the labour security and the health of employees. The measure is meant to impose discipline and responsibility among employers, specialists of medical commissions and Public Health Centres in terms of the health condition of employees exposed to risk factors of professional disease.  

Also, the regulation provides for carrying out a medical examination and laboratory investigations, in strict compliance with the risk factors the employee is exposed to.   

An important element set in the Regulation regards the full and qualitative assessment of risk factors at working places and applying measures of improving the labour conditions, taking into account the results of employees’ medical examinations.
