OREANDA-NEWS. The Deputy Minister of Information Technology and Communication Vitalie Tarlev had a meeting with Hocine Boussouara, Kiev-based Ambassador of the Republic of Algeria to our country.

During the official meeting Vitalie Tarlev thanked Mr. Hocine Boussouara for his visit and communicated about the objectives of the ministry’s activity and  specific actions undertaken in the field of information technology and communication.

The Deputy Minister said that the ICT sector in the Republic of Moldova develops continuously. For the last 5 years our country has been rated as having a high speed of the Internet. Moreover, the Deputy Minister mentioned the priority projects of the MITC, namely: Digital Moldova 2020 Strategy, draft Law on IT parks, Law on Postal Communications that passed through final reading by the Parliament.

In his turn, the Algerian Ambassador congratulated the team of the MITC for the recently acheved results, at the same time mentioning his appreciation for Ministry’s readiness to initiate new bilateral relations with the country he represents, and expressing his confidence that the implementation of initiated projects will contribute to ensure a sustainable development of the Republic of Moldova.
