Austrian Police Reported of Three Victims of Shooting in Vienna

One of the attackers also died. “There are three civilian casualties, the fourth dead is the criminal,” Purstl told reporters. He clarified that there are two men and one woman among the dead.
Austrian Interior Minister Karl Nehammer said that one of the criminals sympathized with the terrorist organization Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant. “Yesterday we experienced an attack by at least one Islamist terrorist. This is a situation that we have not experienced in Austria for decades,” the politician claimed at a press conference.
On November 2, there was a shooting in several parts of Vienna. In addition to those killed, at least 15 people were wounded. Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz called the Vienna shooting “a hideous terrorist attack.” The citizens are advised to avoid public places. A large-scale special operation to search for and capture criminals continues in the city.
