OREANDA-NEWS. Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed a decree on a new procedure for determining the customs value of goods exported from Russia. The document was published on Monday on the government website.

"In particular, it's established that the customs value of exported goods is determined in order to calculate export customs duties, the basis for which is the customs value of exported goods", the explanatory note to the resolution says. The new procedure has been established in connection with changes in the law of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and Russian legislation.

It's envisaged that customs value is not determined and is not declared if, in accordance with the law of the EAEU and Russian legislation, there is no obligation to pay export duties on these goods, the basis of calculation for which is their customs value. Methods for determining the customs value of exported goods and the grounds for their application are also established.
