China Sent Humanitarian Aid to Russia
OREANDA-NEWS. The press service of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade reported that China sent humanitarian aid with a total weight of 26 tons to Russia.
The agency organized the delivery and distribution at the Russian government’s request, in accordance with the agreements of the leaders of the two countries. Transportation was carried out by the Russian Aerospace Forces. “The cargo with a total weight of 26 tons includes medical masks, respirators, protective suits, disposable gloves, shoe covers and infrared thermometers,” the statement says.
The Ministry recalled that earlier, Russia provided humanitarian assistance to China in accordance with the instructions of the president and government of the Russian Federation. On February 9, humanitarian aid with a total weight of more than 23 tons was sent to the Chinese city of Wuhan.
