OREANDA-NEWS. The detainee for shooting at a Kazan school was a student at the Tatar Institute for Business Promotion, from where he was expelled this spring for academic failure. This is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the press service of the educational institution.

According to the agency, at the college Galyaviev was described as a "quiet and non-conflict" person.

"During his studies, he showed himself to be a quiet and non-conflict student," TASS was told at TISBI college. "He was always neat and calm, he was respectful of fellow students and teachers."

The Rosgvardia confirms that the person who organized the shooting at the school in Kazan was legally in possession of the weapon.

"Rosgvardia officers immediately arrived at the scene and, together with other law enforcement agencies, detained an attacker who owned a registered weapon," Valery Gribakin, an official spokesman for the Rosgvardia, told reporters.

The one who arranged the shooting in the Kazan gymnasium immediately after the arrest called himself God and demanded not to ascribe to him other people's psychological problems. At the same time, he abandoned his own father and mother.

Galyaviev graduated from school number 175 four years ago. On the morning of May 11, he arrived there and started shooting from a legally acquired smoothbore gun. As a result of the attack, eight people were killed and 21 were injured. Most of the victims are children. Most of the killed were in the 8th grade "A".
