The signing ceremony was held at the Russian Cultural Center (RCC) in Beijing as part of the presentation of the potential of the Russian region. “We have signed four agreements worth over 1 billion rubles", Tula Oblast Governor Alexei Dyumin told reporters.

“As part of the interregional cooperation between the Russian Federation and the PRC, tomorrow we will sign an agreement on the establishment of twinning relations with the Hebei province (Northern China), which is similar to the Tula region in production, for those chemical and metallurgical facilities that are there”, continued the head of the Russian region. And another agreement will be signed between the enterprises of the Tula region and Hebei province for $ 7.8 million".

According to Dyumin, despite the small amount of investment, from the point of view of "a single subject of the Russian Federation - the Tula region, this figure is significant". “These are new investments, new industries, new jobs and replenishment of budget revenues”, the governor concluded. Oil products Kubanmaslo-EMZ and the Volovsky Broiler poultry farm will also supply their products to the Chinese market.
