OREANDA-NEWS The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) was subjected to a hacker attack, told reporters in the press service of the Department.

"It was a full-fledged hacker attack. It began with a mass mailing to the addresses of The Federal Antimonopoly Service virus, which steals service logins and passwords," — said the Agency interlocutor.

He added that while hackers attacked the information resources of the FAS and suggested that the goal was a break-in. The "attack" began on Wednesday evening and affected both the Central office and the territorial authorities.

The information security service reacted quickly, there are no victims yet, told The Federal Antimonopoly Service.

On Thursday morning, the head of the Department of public relations Irina Kashunina said on his Facebook page that the attackers have created a personal virus for the FAS.

To the post she attached a screenshot of a virus letter, which means the sender Federal Antimonopoly Service, the topic says: "Federal Antimonopoly service shares a file with you", and in the body: "ATTENTION! Your document is stored in a queue. Please download and log in to release the documents." A file named Axigen WebMail.htm.  is also attached to the email.
