OREANDA-NEWS. The US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has announced a reward for any data on persons involved in the installation of explosive devices near the Capitol in Washington. A message about this was published on the official website of the agency. The amount of the reward is up to 50 thousand dollars.

On January 7, law enforcement officers found a car on the territory of the Capitol. Molotov cocktails were found inside the vehicle. In addition, two homemade bombs have been defused in the Capitol. They were found at the headquarters of the national committees of the Democratic and Republican parties. Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund said that the explosive devices discovered during the protests posed a real threat.

On the same day, the FBI asked the Americans to help collect information about the participants in the riots that broke out outside and inside the building of the US Congress.
